One thing we particularly enjoy is helping people find their next computer. We offer a complete service from that initial contact through to the installation and ongoing support of your new machine. We know that replacing your old laptop or desktop can be a bit of a daunting experience so we can manage the whole process for you. This service is offered to both home and business users.
The process is:
- We have an initial discussion about exactly what it is you are looking your new machine to do. Is it a gaming machine? Are you using it for work? Do you have a preference for a Windows machine or an Apple? We also look at what you have already to make sure it can't be upgraded.
- We talk budget and timescale. If it is a custom build then that will need to be factored into the whole process.
- We talk new or refurbished. There are great deals to be had on refurbished or open-box machines. All come with a standard 12 month warranty.
- We talk about optional extras including Office software (Microsoft or one of the many open-source options). Do you have anti-virus software already or can we supply.
- We talk about data transfer from your old machine to the new one.
- We go away and come back with a few options and discuss the pro's and con's of each.
- You are under absolutely no obligation to proceed. You can walk away.
- You want to proceed? Great!! We agree on the machine you want, any optional extras and the expected timescale. You pay a small deposit and sit back.
- We can also recycle your old machine should you need this.
